Central Vacuum Cleaning Systems (CVC)

At IFS we have the capabilities to design, supply, install and commission central vacuum cleaning systems, which offer a high pressure, high velocity, low air volume dust control option for inert or potentially explosive dusts. Where necessary, full compliance to ATEX will be adhered to.

Central vacuum cleaning is the collection of material or dust from a surface/floor in small concentrated areas as opposed to dust control, which is the collection of airborne dust over a large area. This allows the collected materials to be to be conveyed to one central location for convenient and efficient disposal.

Due to the high velocity design, the system offers the advantage in that it allows multiple user operation, with any number of operators working at the same time.

The smooth flow pipe work system will always be small diameter to maintain high velocity, and would typically be around 40m/sec conveying velocity. IFS systems will always be served by an exhauster/blower because of the pressures developed and resistances are measured in “HG.
